Site Services
Accessibility to health care can be a real problem for residents throughout West Virginia. This accessibility problem is somewhat alleviated by providing a diversity of health care services in rural and urban communities for patients of all ages. The Division of Primary Care provides funding for these needed services within the primary care system of community-based health clinics, black lung clinics, free clinics, and school-based health centers.

Mental Health in the Primary Care Setting
The Division of Primary Care receives federal funding to ensure that all
persons who have need of mental health services are evaluated by their primary
health care provider and referred to the appropriate mental heatlh
professional.
