The West Virginia Health Professions Recruitment Program located within the Division of Rural Health and Recruitment would like to assist you with placement opportunities in the beautiful State of West Virginia.  West Virginia offers an excellent quality of life, whether you are looking for a practice in the city or a small rural community.

Our recruitment specialists utilize a statewide Clearinghouse that assists hospitals, private group practices and primary care centers with physician, dentist and mid-level placement.  This is a free service offered by the Division to both providers and facilities as a means to promote health care in West Virginia.  

The West Virginia Division of Rural Health and Recruitment also administers incentive loan repayment programs for physicians, dentists and mid-level practitioners willing to practice in designated shortage areas throughout the state.  However, loan repayment funds are limited and therefore the Division may be unable to award all applicants.
